How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with Flashline Logistics.

Who we are
Flashline Logistics Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides last-mile, middle-mile and same-day delivery services across the North West of England. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our operations:
- Enquiry forms — name, email address, telephone number, company name and the content of your message.
- Driver applications — name, contact details, preferred working location, driving licence and right-to-work details, vehicle and insurance information, and anything you tell us in the additional information field.
- Technical data — basic server log data such as IP address and browser type. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and this site sets no cookies beyond those strictly necessary for it to function.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries — legitimate interests, or consent where you have ticked the consent box.
- To assess driver applications — legitimate interests in recruitment, and legal obligation for right-to-work and licence checks.
- To meet legal and regulatory duties — legal obligation.
- To keep our site secure — legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, and with clients or authorities where a delivery contract or the law requires it. Our current processors are Netlify (website hosting and handling of forms submitted through this site) and Google Workspace / Gmail (email correspondence and storage of enquiry and application messages).
How long we keep it
Personal data relating to unsuccessful driver applications is disposed of immediately once the recruitment process has concluded. Records relating to engaged drivers are kept only for as long as necessary to manage the contractor relationship and to comply with any applicable legal, tax or regulatory obligations.
Where it is stored
Personal information is stored and processed entirely within the UK. We do not transfer personal data internationally.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@flashlinelogistics.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
